In order for the Macro to work correctly, you need to use [firmware retraction] Calibration_Prints. If using a large retraction, consider tuning Klipper’s pressure advance instead. It can be useful to set the external perimeter speed to be the same speed as the rest of the print, but it is not a requirement. This just gives you a bit more headroom for filaments that may behave a bit differently. I’ve wanted to try firmware refraction for a while and And it would be easy to test just set the firmeware retraction to something big that you can observe, like 30mm, and set the speed to something fast.
